With a Sport and Exercise Science BSc with Honours and an Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training, Tom Cundy uses the three core pillars that ran throughout his degree – physiological, biomechanical and psychological – to create bespoke fitness plans tailored to clients’ individual goals, abilities and lifestyles.
A skilled personal trainer, Tom has developed a holistic approach to his training methods to create tough but enjoyable workouts. He prefers a patient and personable style of training, but can be a drill sergeant if he needs to be! Importantly, he understands that life is supposed to be enjoyed, but this need not negatively impact your health and overall fitness. With a clear plan created from the start that is tailored towards clients’ physical ability as well as their mentality, Tom will never set you a goal that you can’t reach.
When he’s not with clients in the gym, Tom loves watching live sport, playing football, rugby, cricket or tennis. And, in the spirit of practising what he preaches, Tom also loves going out for a few beers with mates or a night in watching the latest Netflix shows.
